Most sites advertise FREE search but want you to pay when they find something. I need something reliable and FREE all the way to search for friends and family. Most sites dont give enough information or spotty data that is not really usable.
What is the best FREE site to find people with? I need to get in touch with family and friends that have moved
If you know the state they moved to, you can go to Zabaseach.com and type in their name and it will give you addresses.
Reply:The best method is to "google" them or use all the directories available. The whitepages.com is an excellent source if you have some information such as the state they moved to. Yahoo and MSN also have directories that might be of help. You can do a search under the persons name but that's never been very successful for me.

Me and my friends all want to go on holiday summer 2008 to somewhere on the coast with sun and culture but we cant find many flights that leave cheaply from Amsterdam airport...
Everything is really expensive...

A lot of people won't accept your circumstances (even though it has absolutely nothing to do with them directly) given on how they're raised or what they believe in. No one does anyone else any harm in my opinion, and cause an awful lot of needless hurt...but that's just my humble opinion...

I'm Asian but I find that I like Caucasian people and I have many Caucasian friends. Is this normal?
I grew up in Singapore, which is a predominantly Asian society. I find the culture there very tense and highly-strung due to emphasis on good results and economic competitiveness.
I find it difficult to relate to my peers who are Asian and I was ostracised by my Chinese classmates in Primary and High School.
Since coming to uni in Australia I find that I made lots of friends, especially with White people. I like their individualism and their relaxed, laidback lifestyle. They also know how to take things easy.
Is this normal? I don't like mixing with Asian people because Asians rejected my friendship when I was younger. I find Chinese culture to be very judgmental and unforgiving. I openly embrace Western society and all its glorious attributes!

Reply:Yes, certainly it is normal. It just so happen that you are more in sync with caucasians. It does not really matter what race you're from as long as you have meeting of the minds so to speak.

first of all this stuff about star signs is a load of rubbish. do you really believe that the billions of people in the world can be crammed into 12 boxes!!!?? How do you make people see the real me so I can have more friends and find love without changing me?
I have trouble making friends and find love. People I think don't trust me because I'm nice, or they think because I don't joke around that I'm robot. How can I be me but gain more friendship and find someone that love me for me.

The real answer is to truly love and respect yourself. It is your own healthy self-image and self-respect that will draw others to you--decent people who will not take advantage of you or disrespect you.

You can't make anybody do anything--even if you hold a gun to someone's head and say "Do this or die!" it's still their choice. The best you can do is examine the kinds of people you associate with, and change that if necessary. It's good you desire to stay strong in your convictions and remian true to yourself--in this world of facetious idealogy, that's a quality many are lacking. Finding others who share your beliefs and desires is a good place to start, because people find it easier to accept someone when they more closely resemble the man (or woman) in the mirror.
In all seriousness, I'd suggest trying a dating site. Being able to scrutinze an individual before ever meeting them is a great boon to the shy.

I play the saxophone and two of my friends both play electric guitar. I think we should find a drummer but i don't know if it will work out with us making up our blues or playing blue from a book or something. How should I do this?

I feel so lost everywhere...why can't i find my true friends?
i'm a freshman in hs. i'm rly shy and quiet but i push myself to be social. i just can't seem to find my real friends. i don't feel accepted anywhere and i feel rushed. i saw how my older sister grew...how she was a "nerd" my age and grew up to become really smart AND cool when she started becoming a junior. sorry, i sound stereotypical...anyway, i talk to everyone even if their nerdy or popular or w.e. but everyone already has their own little groups. i also feel like i don't belong in my church youth group. i feel pressured by my sister and feel like how she grew up is my guideline. i'm so crazy at home...why can't i express it? if i did i would fit in so well in my opinion and wouldn't feel so lost.

I came out with my mom,aunt and grandmother.. these last ones I dont know if they accept. and my mom doesnt accept me.., she doesnt like the idea to see with a man.. and the rest of my family dont know and my friends suspect.. I did not immediately find a sense of peace, but I did find a sense of freedom. I no longer had to hide this part of myself, and no longer feared anyone else finding out. This freedom to be who I was gradually led to a feeling of peace.

Yes, it can be frustrating when you feel surrounded by superficial or shallow thinkers. That is your clue to change your routine, environment, and even associates... as you mature, your priorities change.
A good place to start your search is in any "higher education" venue because intelligent people value their educations. Bypass those going to class because they "have to"... seek out the ones that are intent on their studies for self enrichment.
Whether it is at college or private classes, follow your interests to find people of like mind... then you will have common ground to start conversations and establish friendships with.

I think it's ok to have a variety of friends that have a great diversity of interests. Friends, even the ones that just talk "guys" can still be a loyal friend in times of need BUT I think you just need to expand where YOU hang out. It's nice to keep some friends for going out and having fun and some others to sit a discuss a topic of interest with etc...

why do i feel like this?
ive been saying i have other stuff to do for the past 3 days and been saying no for the past 3 days.
i hate saying no and they are my only friends fd'skhofhda
but i just find myself not feeling like going.

Omg.. im in the same position!! But even worse.. it has been weeks!! and i hate making excuses too.. but I have been doing so all along.
I'm not sure why it's like that with you.. but I guess possible reasons could be you have something in your mind. Perhaps you're guilty of something you did to your close friends, or maybe they will be leaving soon, so you're just sad. Or maybe you're in love with someone.. I'm not sure.. but it's definitely a problem!! If you don't know what's bothering you, you better find out.
For me.. I have a number of reasons. I like a guy a lot. Stress from school work. Family problems. And I'm starting to feel like I can't manage things well which has greatly hurt my confidence. This is why I mainly am trying to avoid my friends. Do you have similar reasons as I do? Do let me know..

Okay what should i do to find out if one of my friends is lying to me or not?
Okay i always feel like one of my friends is a liar and tells all these lies that i don't think is true. She tells these lies about people and i dont know if they are true or not....what should i do to find out if she is lying or not..cuz i really want to know.

Well, without directly asking someone you think she has lied about, then you could say something like "I am so sorry to hear about what happened" or "I heard about what happened, are you okay?". Then if there was truth to what your friend said, the other person will usually more or less fill you in. If they say "what are you talking about??" then you know you were most likely told a lie. Then you can back out by saying "I heard that such and such happened, must be bad information".
Then dump the liar. I was married to one for years, it only gets worse, and can get you into hot water too. I don't need or want liars for friends, and you don't need friends like that either.
