How can I find out my friends' cause of death?

how can I find out my friends' cause of death who died in a rescue vehicle

How can I find out my friends' cause of death?
Contact your local coroner's office and fill out the proper paper work.
Reply:Any unnatural death will have been investigated by the police and an autopsy will have been done by the medical examiner / coroner.

If it is a closed case, you can get copies of the police report and also the medical examiners final death certificate which will list the cause of death.

It is all public record and all you have to do is show up in person and request it and then pay a small per page copy fee for the reports from both places.
Reply:In the case of the death under those circumstances an autopsy has to be done. Ask a family member what the results are.
Reply:There are extensive privacy laws now that are more stringent than before. You will have to get the info volunteered from a family member of your friend.
Reply:Ask Silvia Browne.
Reply:Well . . . I'm assuming you're asking because there was an investigation and you want to know the result

Call the police station and ask how you can get a copy of the report. If they are like most police stations, they will tell you that they do not release those reports and you cannot get a copy.

But, do not fret! There is this little thing called the Freedom Of Information Act. Now, I'm going to let you know that FOIA requests take a really long time, and you will have to pay a fee for your copy. If you really want to know, then do it.

Here's a link that tells you how:

Reply:Get an autopsy done. That's almost the only way to find the cause of death. I don't think YOU can personally get the results though. I'm sorry for your loss..
