How should i find more deaf friends?
go to a deaf social clubs. I'm 19 and hard of hearing and I have lots of deaf friend I'm a student at texas state techinal college in Waco. If you have a myspace profile you can talk to me on my profile at http://www.myspace.com/deafredneck53
Reply:wow, good for you. people like you inspire me. anyone with a good heart will accept you. ummm. uhhh. just keep thinkg about finding someone. it is so much better when you happen upon the perfect friend instead of striving to meet someone. best of luck and wishes!!
Reply:I would suggest going to deaf events. If you have your states interpreting chapter, you can check their web page. They usually have a list of deaf events. Ohio's website is ocrid.org

if you dont' live in ohio and don't know the web page, you might be able to email ocrid.org and ask them if they know your states chapter of interpreters. Good luck!
Reply:Heya! I ahve been learning sign language because I want to work within the deaf community, I just turned 22 not long ago. I am so glad you asked this question, I have been on the same search!! I actually am in the process of buying a deaf dog right now that has been through obedience school and has learned a significant amount of sign language, I thought that would be a good start for me since I'm not deaf. Good luck on your search, Im always open for chat if you ever want to! Just add me to your yahoo 360
