i would like to find a clean and free site to make good friends to talk to! anyone have any suggestions? thanks

Right here's one of them. Many of us accept IMs and or Emails and will respond to you if you write. One way to start is to look at people's answers or questions and see if you find them interesting, then start the ball rolling.
Reply:no. all websites have a risk of a predator/w/e. but of course, if you're just talking to them, and not going to visit them or nething, it doesnt really matter where you talk to people, because talking's harmless as long as you don't give away any info.

Reply:Myspace always have great friends, but you just got to be careful with everyone. You can mostly tell a person by their page: how colorful their site is, how their comments from their friends sound like, who their friends are, if they're a fraud, their personality by their about me. I met many great friends there and reconnected with alot. It can be safe if you make it safe, and there's always the privacy button. Also, if anything happens, everyone's connected to each other so it's less dangerous than the other sites because you know LOTS of people are also in the same network.
