Reply:Hi,

Try a penpal site. This particular site:

www.interpals.net

has many Korean members who I am sure would be happy to help you practice Korean. Registration is free. There is also a language exchange section which makes it easier to find a learning partner.

Good luck ~ M.
Reply:Google Lang8 to get to their website, it is an interenet community for learning languages. I think a lot of people there are learning Japanese but there is also a Korean group which is good. Some people are learning English so you can exchange. Also http://korean.paperwindow.com/forum/ is a good site to discuss and also meet others. If you are looking for some basic Korean info and a dictionary you can try www.zkorean.com. A really good one is http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/ where you can search for people by language. I met a Korean friend from Daegu there, I emailed for a while, and he came and lived in my city for a while. It was fun, too bad he had to go home.

There are many ways to meet others, this is just a few.

have fun, and good luck!
Reply:This might cost a little but if you gey dish, they have really good korean channels for pretty good prices. It helped me at least . I knew korean but was loosing it. and don't worry about understanding it. You can program it to have english on the bottom so that you understand it. If you learn the words and watch it on the tv and how it is used, it is really helpful and making korean friends help too. Besides, the korean shows are so good that you almost get addicted to it. Just kidding. but they are really good. and look around you. If there is someone who looks like they're asian, say (an yung ha se yo) (안녕하세요.) , it means hello, and if they say it back it means they are korean. Try asking if they will be friends with you and have them for dinner and ask if they mind teaching you. You know koreans have lots of patience.and they cook really good food.
