If you are a woman look no further friend. You can sometimes find friends in chat rooms but it is not always easy. I have some wonderful chinese on line friends who are genuine and lovely ladies. One lady in particular likes to learn english so I edit her letters for her to help her learn. Sometimes, not often, we talk online. It may take time but finding foreign friends on line might work. by the way they now I am married so it is not for romance that these friends talk with me Good luck

When you create a profile in these websites, you'll state what language you can teach and what language you wanna learn, and after that you can search for those who wanna learn the language you can speak or vice versa. When you spot someone, you can send them a message and then blah blah blah. It's not only about exchanging language but most people on these websites just wanna make some new friends so it's quite fun though. Another way to find foreign friends is to play online games ^^ I've made friends with many Chinese-Malaysian by playing games.
