Where can u go to find a decent guy. When you dont have friends that go out to clubs and things?

I was just interested in some places that people would suggest me to go, to find a decent guy, when my friends dont like going out to clubs and pubs much. Most guys at pubs and clubs are just idiots.

What about coffee shops, gyms, markets, even libraries!





Go where there are people who are interested in the same things as you.

Reply:Most places, where the main intent is to shove alchohol down your throat, should be avoided. The nicest people generally won't be found there. :-)
Reply:well you are definitely right about the guys in pubs and clubs they are there only for one thing. theres a lot of places that you can meet a decent guy for example a library or even church. but just becareful guys are guys

But the alternative scenes





Ie metal, goth, rave, etc are mostly populated by smart , deep often creative types who have no interest in acting hard, many hardly drink but are into the music.








Aussie/kiwi backpacker places are often fun and geared to getting people to pair up but again no attiude.








Failing that...





Skate parks, martial arts clubs... how old are you?





Surf clubs, beaches... (girl in bikinis can't go wrong... just as a guy to rub on sun lotion.

Reply:I'm right there with you. I'm not really into the club scene anymore and my friends are all married or just older and established. I met some girls over the weekend at the mall and sometimes I'll run into someone at the bookstore. Grocery market is good place too.





Honestly though, its hard to meet other "boring" people. I like being boring so I'd hope we aren't alone in this endeavor.
Reply:i agree with you. most clubs are very loud and it is often difficult to meet anyone. if you do meet someone in a club often they are after nothing more than a one night stand, if you are lucky you could get a week. some people do like that though, but i would say that is just sick. I am a strong christian and i would say that one should really wait for the one you are going to marry to come along. i have had girlfriends before but i have realised that it is actually a waste of time having intimate girlfriends without knowing for sure if she is the one, i mean you leave a part of yourself with that person and it is really difficult to get back. to answer your question i would say at a church is the ideal place to make friends and then pick the one you like the most.
