How to find british/Indians/Sri lankans, or just british people for friends? in Munich?

Hi there, I'm a 25 yr. old gal, Sri lankan, living in Munich since 11 years now, I'd just like to find friends, people from a similar cultural background as friends from the u.k, but that's hard to do when you live in Munich. Have given up finding ppl. through Internet, cos you only seem to get wierdos, does anyone know a way to do this? at least a "good" Website??? thx.
